Development of Psychometrics for Adolescents’ Care Based on the Local Wisdom of the Pandalungan Family in Indonesia

Objective − This study aims to develop a psychometric for assessing family care in adolescents using Indonesian local wisdom among Pandalungan families the Eastern region of Java Island, Indonesia. Methods was cross-sectional conducted with N=1,023 questionnaires developed identify domain inquiry into wisdom, which is strongly related spirituality, structure, function, and development tasks. Multiple factors were examined construct validity exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory (CFA), as well content Content Validity Index (CVI). Additionally, internal consistency explored Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. Results – The EFA results showed eleven including faith beliefs, communication, values norms, role, decision making, affective, socialization, economy, reproduction, health care, tasks 52 items accounting 62.13% explained variance CFA fit Caring Adolescent Local Wisdom. Furthermore, CVI indicated adequate ranging from 0.80 0.10 high 0.98. Conclusion scale contains valid, reliable, robust measures, but healthcare exhibited slightly low consistency, thereby demonstrating need further investigations.
